Wow! The summer has come and we are already into September. I am so grateful for so many wonderful kids that come through my door, as well as the parents who continue to bring them back and share that their little one couldn’t even sleep well because they were so excited about coming to Time For Art! These stories remind me that, despite the challenges that come with being a new business owner, this is not by accident and it is not in vain.
Near the end of August, I began painting these Little Cutie characters that inspired me in hopes of passing that inspiration along to the students that come through my studio. It is a work in progress, and I questioned if these paintings were something people would respond to or if painting them was just self-fulfillment for me. Well, after participating in my very first major festival, I’ve come to realize it’s a bit of both. I had so many parents love the pictures and tell me the paintings reminded them of their own little ones. So many people were ready to buy them! This encouraged me to come back to the studio and complete what I started. In the process of trying to figure out the formula to being a successful business owner, I look to my students and my experiences to keep me motivated and inspired. It works every time! So I invite you to check out our website to enjoy these Little Cuties …. and maybe even purchase one for your own little cutie!
